Launching the Girl Child Empowerment Program — Shine Her Light
E-Hills Foundation officially launched the Girl Child Empowerment Program themed “Shine Her Light” in a colourful ceremony attended by community leaders, parents, students, and well-wishers.
The program, founded and led by Ernestina Ayampogbila Akagene, champions girl child empowerment through life skills training, mentorship, and targeted educational support. The launch marked a significant milestone for the foundation and for girls across the communities we serve.
Speaking at the event, Founder Ernestina Akagene said: “Every girl deserves a voice. Every girl deserves to feel seen and valued. Through this program, we are creating a space where girls can shine.”
The ceremony included the presentation of learning materials and school supplies to girls transitioning from Junior High School to Senior High School — a critical period in a girl’s educational journey.
We are deeply grateful to all the community leaders, parents, and supporters who turned out for this historic launch. This is just the beginning.
Your kindness is someone’s hope.
